Reduce 24/7 labor costs and eliminate downtime of your facility or process!
Super-human sensors empower robots to capture real-time data indluding customized analytics!
Automate routine tasks to avoid mundane jobs, preventing errors from human fatigue and biases!
Enhance human safety and eliminate the need for lifting heavy payloads!
An ideal mobile robot should excel in mobility, overcoming obstacles with speed and efficiency while carrying substantial payloads. Existing robots fall short of meeting all these criteria. Moreover, their widespread adoption faces challenges due to limitations in real-world reasoning. Addressing these limitations, Swiss-Mile combines the wheeled-legged robot of Unitree Robotics with our embodied AI to commercialize our end-to-end solution.

Overcomes challenging obstacles and enables navigation everywhere!
Can carry tools, materials, goods, and sensors with payloads up to 60 kg!
Transitions between driving and walking on four and two legs!
Large-scale reality capture replicates the real world digitally!
Reinforcement and supervised learning to connect AI with the real world!
Swiss-Mile focuses on two solutions for various use cases: the Robotic Mule, engineered for seamless carrying, and the Robotic Watchdog, boasting advanced monitoring capabilities. Beyond cost efficiency, these cutting-edge solutions prioritize worker safety and well-being by relieving them from monotonous tasks while delivering valuable operational insights.
General-purpose platform for urban environments, allowing various logistic applications by carrying goods, materials and tools.
The robot, equipped with multi-modal sensors, excels at detecting anomalies, thereby minimizing facility downtime.
Through routine quality and progress tracking, the construction manager can automatically spot safety hazards and construction mistakes early.
The robot patrols and reports anomalies. In emergency scenarios, it assesses the situation before the security team arrives.
The video showcases our latest milestone in commercializing our technology, seamlessly integrated into the Unitree Robotics hardware platform. This new platform empowers us to achieve an operational duration of 4 to 5 hours on a single battery charge, while also boasting the capability to handle payloads of up to 60 kg.
Within the Robotic Systems Lab of ETH Zurich, the founders dedicated six years to pioneering research in robotic intelligence and wheeled-legged robots. In the following videos, the founders built on a third-party robot and further customized it strictly for research purposes.
We introduce an autonomous navigation system developed for wheeled-legged robots, designed for fast and efficient navigation within large urban environments. Driven by neural network policies, our simple, unified control system enables smooth gait transitions, smart navigation planning, and highly responsive obstacle avoidance in populated urban environments.
We introduce an intrinsically motivated RL approach for learning complex locomotion and manipulation tasks, aiming to reduce the need for extensive task-specific engineering. The proposed method encodes the desired task in a single sparse reward (+1 for task achievement) and leverages intrinsic motivation to guide exploration towards this reward signal.
CNN's "Tech for Good" hears from Dr. Marko Bjelonic, who believes autonomous machines are the key to making cities smarter and more efficient.
Finally, after the first Rocky movie in 1976, the Robotic Systems Lab presents a continuation of the iconic series. The transformer robot visited Philly in 2022 as part of the International Conference on Robotics and Automation.
The Sechseläuten ("The six o'clock ringing of the bells") is a traditional spring holiday in the Swiss city of Zürich and in 2022, the parade had a robotic guest of honor!
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang kicks off GTC22 with a keynote that presents the latest breakthroughs in AI, data science, high-performance computing, and autonomous machines, featuring also our embodied AI in the real and digital world.
The capability to stand up on two legs, as shown here, revolutionizes the way we categorize legged robots. The standing mode allows for a higher field of view, but also enables practical skills such as calling an elevator and opening doors.
This wheeled-legged robot performs exceptional locomotion skills with reinforcement learning driving at speeds of up to 6 m/s (22 km/h or 14 miles/h), overcoming obstacles, and standing up on two legs!
As a spin-off from ETH Zurich, Swiss-Mile Robotics AG was founded in April 2023 with the vision to create an effortless future.
